Hi Everyone, it's been lovely to see some more children back at school. I'm enjoying looking at all your hard work from home too. Please see below for this week's activities. There is also an extra task at the top of the home learning plan. It would be great if you could all do this. We will be doing this in school.

Can you have a go at learning to introduce yourself in sign language?

Have a great week, Mrs W.

Hello Everyone, I can't believe we're in the middle of June already! Thank you for continuing to send in all your hard work. You carry on impressing me! Children in school have also been working hard and are doing so well following the new rules. This week's learning is below.

This is a link to a video for some new BSL signs about animals. It would be great if you could have a go at learning them.

Please have a look at the Book Corner page. We have read or listened to a couple of these stories in class.

Have a great week, Mrs White.

Hello Willow Class, it was lovely to see some of you back at school last week. You all settled in so well to the new routine and seemed really happy to see each other.

Here are this week's activities. I have highlighted those subjects we will do at school (although this doesn't include CGP or Purple Mash). The PowerPoint for Science is in the Willow Class folder on Purple Mash.

I hope you have a lovely week off and enjoy the sunshine. Thank you so much for the wonderful video you made for Mrs Greenwood and I. It really brightened my day! It was lovely to see lots of you and I look forward to seeing you in person soon.

Monday's News

First of all, congratulations for achieving your Get Set Tokyo target! In fact, you beat your target for levels of activity last week, so well done!

Secondly, you might enjoy having a go at our Guess the Teacher competition on the Gallery page. Have fun!

Hello Willow Class, well, we're into the last week before the half-term holiday. Thank you for all the work you've been sending me. I can see the progress you're all making, which is just brilliant! I've put together some photos of your hard work below.  There is work from every single one of you, so a big well done! This week's learning tasks are here for you too. Have a lovely week, Mrs White.

11.05.20

Hi Willow Class, thank you for continuing to send me your work and completing the Purple Mash tasks. You're all putting in a tremendous amount of effort and should be very proud of yourselves. Some of the games I've set on Purple Mash might not appear to save as they are activities you can repeat, but I can usually see your scores, so don't worry! It's all good practise smiley. This week's activities are below. If you are able to make a Cinderella carriage and send me a photo, I would love to be able to make a gallery of your work, but I do understand this is a bit of a tricky task to do at home. I've added a little fun guessing game for you. I like to take photographs through my microscope. Can you guess what the pictures are of? I hope you enjoy your long weekend. Let me know if you do anything for VE Day! Have fun, Mrs White.

Can you guess what these are photographs of..?

04.05.20

Hello Everyone, it sounds as though you've all been enjoying your learning at home. I've been so impressed with your efforts (and those of your mums and dads!). I know it's not always easy learning at home, but you're all doing such a great job smiley.  Thank you for sending me your work. Keep emailing it to me as I love to see your progress. You're all doing really well with Purple Mash too. Below are this week's tasks for you to have a go at. I wasn't able to add the Science PowerPoint, so I have uploaded this onto Purple Mash in the Willow Class work folder. Please let me know if you can't find it or have trouble opening it. I've also added a video of something arty you might like to try. You just need kitchen paper, some felt tips (we used Sharpies, but others might work) and a bowl of water...

Have a great week, Mrs White

Hi Willow Class, I hope you enjoyed your first week back! I've really enjoyed seeing all your work on Purple Mash as well as by email. I can see that you're working hard on your science projects! Don't forget to check the 2Display board on Purple Mash to see some of your work.

We have been very excited in the White house this week as our rabbits, Cotton-Tail and Bongo, have had babies (kittens). Here they are...

Take care, Mrs White.

Hello Everyone, hope you all had a lovely Easter and didn't eat too much chocolate! Did you manage to find all the items in the scavenger hunt? I hope you are now ready for the summer term. All our topics for this half-term are in the file at the bottom of this page. I also wanted us to keep up with the sign language. We have already learnt good morning, good afternoon, please, thank you, colours and the alphabet. Have a look at this picture to practise the alphabet. See if you can sign your name.

You should have received your logins for Purple Mash. I have put 3 tasks in the 2Do section. See if you can have a go. I can then share your hard work on the Willow Class noticeboard. All other work can be done in the exercise book that was sent home.

Have a good week, Mrs White.

03.04.20

Hi Everyone, well, when I set you the weather observation task this week, I didn't expect it to snow! Hopefully we will have some sun over the holidays. No learning tasks over Easter, but I have prepared a scavenger hunt for you to do if you like. Just try and keep up the daily reading. Remember you can use Oxford Owl for free online books. I will give you more home learning work after Easter. Don't eat too much chocolate! Mrs Greenwood also wishes you a happy Easter. See you soon, Mrs White

Hello Willow Class, I hope you have had a good week. I have missed seeing you all, but I bet you're all doing brilliantly! My children have been at home just like you. I thought you might like to see a rainbow that Isabelle painted... Have you drawn, painted or made a rainbow? I have added some new work for you to do this week. I hope you're managing to get some fresh air in the sunshine. Take care, Mrs White
