Badminton Tournament April 2022
Welwyn and Hatfield District Badminton Competition
Our pairs enjoyed a morning of badminton at Ridgeway Academy with all teams playing each other in a round robin competition. The girls gained confidence with every match and narrowly lost to the silver medalists. The boys drew in their second game and this meant that the final positions were decided on points scored. Fortunately their combined total was over 100 and they came first! Well played to all!
It was also nice to see a former St Michael's student umpiring as a Young Leader and continuing the sporting tradition into their secondary education.
