Queen Elizabeth Forest School
See below for our Forest School journey...
Our Forest School is an integral part of our learning journey at St. Michael's. It is used in all areas of the curriculum. The Forest School allows us to give our children opportunities to be creative in a safe, natural environment.
Two of our class teachers have specific Forest School qualifications:
Leah Peters - Level 3 Forest School Practitioner
Kayleigh Egerton - Level 1 Forest School Practitioner

Queen Elizabeth Forest School Official Opening
Friday 21st October 2022
Today after school we had the official opening of our forest school. The weather had been very wet but at 3:15pm the sun shone and Mrs Poultney cut the ribbon so that everyone could explore the area. The fire pit was tested out as lots of marshmallows were toasted and placed between biscuits. There were also refreshments in the school hall. It was wonderful to see so many people supporting our event and many were impressed with the transformation of the area. Our thanks to all our supporters and a special thanks to Matt Lloyd who designed and made our beautiful new outdoor learning environment.
