Saracens Year 6 Tag Rugby Festival October 2021

On Thursday 14th October a team from Year 6 attended the Saracens Tag Rugby Festival, hosted by Welwyn Rugby Club. Matches were an opportunity to apply and develop skills that Oak class pupils have been learning in PE this term, as well as a chance to try out some tactics and to meet some new opponents!

The results in our group were as follows: St. M v Oak View 8-0 win, St. M v Brookman’s Park 6-2 win, St. M v Commonswood 7-0 win, St. M v St. John’s, Lemsford 7-1 win.

The team then played an extra match against St. Mary’s, Welwyn who had also won all of their matches. In a close game St. Michael’s won 7-5.
