'Shine as Lights in the World'
Our class has just received a batch of duck eggs, now safely nestled in an incubator. We have these eggs to observe the fascinating process of hatching and to learn about the life cycle of ducks firsthand. This experience will teach us about responsibility, patience, and the wonders of nature. Stay tuned for more updates as we watch these eggs develop and eventually welcome adorable ducklings into our classroom! 🐣🦆
Day 1
Today was an incredibly special day for Year 5! During assembly, we witnessed the magical moment when our first duckling emerged from its egg. The excitement in the room was palpable as we all gathered around to see this tiny, fluffy creature take its first steps into the world.
We took this opportunity to learn more about the hatching process and discovered how the egg yolk sustains the duckling while it's still inside the egg. It was fascinating to understand how nature provides everything the duckling needs to grow and develop.
Our first duckling has been named Simba (Named by Heidi), and we can't wait to see what adventures lie ahead for our little friend. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to watch our ducklings grow and learn together! 🐣🦆
