This half term, we’re exploring the theme of “Lost and Found” through mystery, imagination, and discovery!
We’ll dive into the gripping detective story High Rise Mystery, solving clues and uncovering secrets alongside its young investigators. Then, we’ll journey into the surreal world of Shaun Tan’s The Lost Thing, where we’ll think deeply about belonging, curiosity, and what it means to notice the extraordinary in the everyday.
Through these thought-provoking texts, we’ll develop our reading, writing, and critical thinking skills while exploring big ideas about identity, community, and creativity. Get ready for a term full of puzzles, wonder, and stories that challenge us to look closer at the world around us!
