As part of our topic on rainforests we went to Mardley Woods to explore how it is used by the local community.

Our new text 'The Crown' is a beautiful book celebrating life on earth.  Unfortunately, at the beginning of the story, the main character is wearing a crown filled with pollution.  She asked for  Elm Class' help to create a beautiful crown to give her hope

We used our knowledge of electrical circuits to make light -up Christmas Cards. 

RE - our learning from the Autumn term 

English – we found some unusual objects on the playground that had mysteriously appeared. We discussed where they might have come from and predicted what our new text could be about.

We created work in the style of Andy Goldworthy. He uses natural resources to produce a range of artwork - using leaves, stones, grass, twigs and branches.
