On Friday Key Stage 1 enthralled us with a delightful Nativity play called "Hey Ewe!" All of the children entertained us with their acting, dancing and singing as well as word perfect spoken lines. The Nativity Service (Years R, 1 & 2) will be held at Woolmer Green Village hall on Friday 16th December at 2.00pm, with refreshments afterwards served by The Friends BACK AT SCHOOL.  Donations of cakes would be most welcome on the day please. Year 6 would like to remind you all that they are currently organising a Christmas Postal Service for the whole school. Please can all Christmas cards be taken to the entrance to Oak Class each morning between 8.50 and 9am. Oak Class will be delighted to post your cards in return for a donation towards their chosen charity - Crisis at Christmas. Cherry Class have been busy creating some wonderful wall displays using the theme of Advent. They have each designed their own Christmas bauble to go on our class Advent calendar, and have put together the most beautiful nativity scene. Most children chose to create the characters who they are portraying in the nativity that they will be performing just before Christmas. ...

Our music and school choir assembly will be on Monday 19th December at 9.15am in the hall. Children who play a musical instrument are invited to play at our assembly on this day. Our school choir will also be singing, hosted by Mrs Hewitt. Parents and carers are most welcome to join us.

Oak (Year 6)
  From Wednesday 14th to Tuesday 20th December Oak Class will be running a Christmas card postal service. The post box will be located in the entrance to Oak Class. You will be able to post your cards from 8.50-9.00am daily. Oak Class would like to make it a fundraising activity, and the charity that they will be supporting will be confirmed in due course.
