Mr B Mallon - Head Teacher

Parents who are considering a place for their child at St Michael's Woolmer Green are warmly invited to visit the school. Please telephone for an appointment and for a full copy of the prospectus.

In joining St Michael's Woolmer Green your child will be part of a community which shares Christian values where everyone works together to create a happy and secure environment. It is our aim to care for particular needs of each child to ensure that every opportunity is provided for all pupils to develop and reach their full potential.

In order to achieve this we look forward to working in partnership with you as your child progresses through the school and we encourage you to visit us to discuss your child's development.

Above all this is a caring school, with caring adults, who seek to develop positive relationships with our parents and children. Together we can ensure that your child will benefit from an exciting and enriching education at St Michael's Woolmer Green and will enjoy a happy and successful time here.

Key Stage 2 had a wonderful day on Monday 13th June as they went back in time to find out about the history of Woolmer Green and its surrounding area.  The children experienced and learnt about life in the Roman times, living as a highwayman / highwaywoman, what it was like in the trenches of World War One, and how it would have felt as an evacuee in World War 2. With the help of parents from the school, history was brought to life with costumes and original artifacts, as well as a special visit from Aunty Bel, who was evacuated duri...
