'Nurturing our children to excellence through Faith and learning'

School Values

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

Each value is introduced during Collective Worship and, for a month, is the theme for these special times in the school day, as well as being high profile in PSHCE lessons, RE and story times.

Time is put aside for reflection and interactive discussion. Collective worship is an occasion that all members of the school community look forward to and is inspiring on a daily basis. Values displays have sprung up everywhere around the school and it is clear to visitors that they have entered a school where values are at our core.

Behavioural issues are dealt with from a values base, ensuring a positive approach, and pupils are praised and recognised in our celebration assemblies for overtly living the values. They are awarded a leaf to add to our ever growing values tree.
